Make it Yours, Anywhere.

In addition to keeping costs low, there is a practical reason for making modular structures, particularly here in Philipinnes - an archipelago of more than 7,641 islands. Modular structures can be modified and set up in a short time frame and can be easily built. Nest can be built on uniquely-shaped sites with steep terrain.

Small Footprint. Big Impact.

Many developments in the Philippines use high quantities of concrete, which destroys the environment. We wanted to challenge the status quo and create an architectural product that leaves behind a minimal footprint. Following the principles of a circular economy, modular homes reuse and recycle products and materials for as long as possible, eliminating potential waste pollution and ensuring that all environments are restored to their initial state.

Sustainable features of our structures include large roof overhangs to reduce solar heat gain, rainwater harvesting, cross-ventilation, and energy-generating solar panels. It is also envisaged that food could be grown underneath our elevated structures.

Uniquely Built to Last.

At the moment, Nest currently uses a steel framework for increased durability and longevity, but we have dreams to become increasingly environmentally responsible when it comes to materials and design. For example, we are now researching how to replace our steel components with engineered wood, or Engineered Bamboo.

The Story of Nest.

When we think of Architecture, we often think of a typology or a standard. So In 2017, the founder, Paolo Grijalvo, an architect and an entrepreneur thought of an Architecture that evolves through time. Using excess steel, glass and wood - Agila House was born. Now the official headquarters of Agila Group Inc.

The 2020 pandemic changed the norm. Everybody vacated physical offices and started conducting business at home. Naturally, Agila House evolved as a personal breathing space and a sanctuary for creative ideas. This is the idea behind Nest - an Architecture that Adapts, Nurtures, and Inspires.

Nest seeks to make Architecture and the Build Process enjoyable again. It aims to reverse the common challenges in Design & Construction during the pandemic - slow, tedious, and uninspiring. Aside from it being an Inspiration, Ar. Grijalvo thought of bringing this idea to unchartered territories by making it expandable, and scalable through Modular Technology.

The idea of a Modular System is not new to the founder. He has been designing and building modular structures for the past five years for different applications. Along the way, the founder proved that structure guarantees time, cost, and durability. The major challenge in building modular is when people relate it as bland and monotonous. Nest is designed to inspire change by ensuring the highest standard of Architectural Design, Sensory Experience as well as following the most rigorous standards of fabrication using high-quality materials.

The dream is to make Nest Export ready so that the World may enjoy Filipino Craftsmanship right outside their property.
